Pizza Club is born
Just a few UX designers and researchers hanging out, discovering all the amazing pizza places in London.

Food and UX concept created
At the start of 2024 Simon had the idea to bring more UXers together with a common love of food, not just pizza, all food!

First ever FAUX. event
I launched on meetup and 58 signed up to the free-to-attend event. 25 people showed up on the night, more than I was expecting for the first event!

The hat!
To help people find me at the events, I started wearing a branded hat…

1 year of FAUX.
We went back to where the first event was, market halls oxford street, to celebrate 1 year. This is also when we switched from meetup to eventbrite and I introduced a ticket price for attending (to help recoup the costs of running the community).

Lunch Club!
A new free event was launched, only available to community members in the Discord. Shani, Christian & Clarissa attended the very first lunch club.

Side Quest 1
Another new free event was launched for Discord members. A community gathering that was not about food - the side quest. 5 showed up for the first one: Pierro, Asim, me, Olena & Monika.

Website refresh and new event: Leaders Dinner
Starting year 3 off with the addition of a new event, a food and UX experience for senior UX leaders. A waiting list has been created, let's see who signs up. I also refreshed the website and renamed 'side quests' to 'weekends'.
